Bernie and Wayne came from a background of drive, determination, resilience, and hard work rather than privilege, and this alone helped the brothers build MCF, a third-party fulfilment company, from a small operation to a nationally recognised brand in under five years.
And this October marks a further milestone. Not an award. Not an expansion. An invitation to the House of Lords.
As one of 40 businesses, MCF has been selected from thousands of logistics companies across the UK to attend a prestigious lunch at the House of Lords, following an exclusive event at the Conrad St James Hotel in London.
The two brothers believe this reflects the sheer progress and innovation of an incredible team, and the many more milestones and achievements to come.
Success is built quietly in the background. Late nights, early starts. Building a leading logistics operation from the ground up and partnering with leading retail brands is a testament to MCF’s success story.
MCF has doubled its space, employed over 100 hard-working staff members, and supported 40 customers across multiple industries since opening.
Over the past three years, the company has won five major industry awards, and the brothers are set for further recognition, with MCF shortlisted for two more prestigious titles.
However, the titles and House of Lords invitation reflect the hard work of the warehouse staff who help Bernie and Wayne maintain first-rate service and smooth operations.
MCF’s collective effort demonstrates that authenticity and hard work create excellence.
On the day, Bernie and Wayne will get suited and booted (no shell suits allowed, sorry, guys!) as they represent MCF and the logistics field in Parliament.
